Are you an experienced Training & Competency Manager looking for an opportunity to join a highly-recognised, chartered, independent financial firm in Birmingham.

The Company

My client is a highly recognised, international company who offer independent financial advice to ultra high-network clients.

Role

My client is looking for a T&C Manager to deliver the T&C requirements of the firm by undertaking all T&C activities on a daily basis. To help supervise the experienced Planners and to be instrumental in the training and development of our graduate Planners.

Responsibilities

  • Helping Planners attain and maintain competency status as per T&C scheme
  • Undertake skill based assessments on new and experienced Planners
  • Provide coaching and training to all Planners as required
  • To design and deliver training to meet individual Planner needs
  • To play a central role in the training and development of our graduates Planners
  • Provide each Planner with a training and development plan, ensuing the delivery of the plan
  • Produce quarterly KPI's as per the T&C scheme

To be successful you will need

  • Significant practical T&C experience within the financial services sector preferably with an Independent Financial Adviser
  • Excellent coaching, development and influencing skills
  • Has a knowledge and understanding of all products/services associated with the financial services market including life, pension, protection and wealth management
  • Has an understanding of financial advice processes
  • Financial Planning Certificate or Diploma Qualified (or equivalent), preferably holding a supervision qualification such as H15, JO7 and AF6
