My client are an award-winning national independent financial advisory practice who holds their head office in Huddersfield. They are currently looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join their team and work with their Financial Planners providing excellent service with administration and paraplanning to both their Advisers and their clients.

The Role

You will be expected to support Independent Financial Advisers on all financial planning products supporting them throughout the client journey from registering their clients for new business, preparing client facing reports and maintaining records. You will work in a compliant manner supported by the team and report directly into the Head of Technical who manages their team in a softer managerial approach allowing you to work with autonomy and control your own diary.

Requirements

You will require strong communication skills and be able to manage your time effectively working to service level agreements, you will also need to demonstrate the ability of working on your own as well as of part of a team and be able to work in a compliant efficient manner. Experience working with Financial Advisers is ideal however full training will be provided as well as the the drive and passion to succeed within the wealth management industry, the business will provide training towards the Diploma in Financial Planning.

In reward for your efforts you will receive a basic salary of up to £26,000 dependent on previous experience as well as an impressive employee benefits package which includes death in service, critical illness cover, full sick pay, pension scheme, 22 days holiday which increases with service, work from home flexibility and free parking as well as softer benefits including dress down Fridays and regular socials.
