Trainee Wealth Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected international wealth management and financial planning firm with a strong reputation for delivering tailored advice to high-net-worth individuals, families and professionals.
This is an ideal opportunity for a level 4 qualified financial planning professional looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative and client-focused environment. You'll work alongside experienced Wealth Planners and gain exposure to complex holistic advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and broader wealth management solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Trainee Wealth Planner, you will support and develop long-term client relationships while working towards becoming a fully established Adviser. The business offers excellent mentoring, technical support and genuine long-term career progression.

You'll be involved in:

  • Supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning advice
  • Conducting client reviews and fact-finds
  • Assisting with pensions, investments and retirement planning recommendations
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working closely with Paraplanners and client support teams
  • Developing new business opportunities and professional introducer relationships
  • Ensuring all advice and client interactions meet FCA and compliance standards

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Level 4 diploma qualified (CII or equivalent)
  • Experience within financial planning/wealth management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A professional, client-centric approach
  • Desire to progress towards Chartered status
  • Knowledge of financial planning processes and suitability reporting
  • Experience with cashflow modelling software would be advantageous
