Now, I know what you're thinking, 'that's a bit different' and you'd be right!
This isn't your standard Lawyer role and nor is it your standard compliance role. It really is a hybrid which is why my client is keen to see candidates with a variety of skills and backgrounds, noting that being a qualified Lawyer is none negotiable!
The role itself is brand new to the business and has come about due to the business evolving and expanding and this is therefore a superb opportunity for someone to join and shape the way the role looks in the future.

The role:
As a subject matter expert, you will be the point person for all trust related work. You will liaise heavily with IFA's and the wider business to ensure all documentation created and advice given is compliant and you will be responsible for developing new trust solutions. You will provide technical support with preparation for client meetings, including legal recommendations and client presentations. In addition you will keep up to date with legislative and industry changes and ensure the business is briefed as such. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Lawyer with trust experience to broaden their skill set and work within the financial services industry.

  • Qualified Lawyer
  • Experience of advising on trust matters
  • Knowledge of the FSA/IFA
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with a variety of people
  • Attention to detail and able to disseminate key information in a jargon free manner
