Business Transition Manager
Main Purpose of Job
This role works in Partnership with Business Acquisition Managers, Business Development Managers and Business Risk Managers to ensure the smooth transition of new joiners through the provision of appropriate support and guidance to maximise success. The role provides bespoke development programmes to ensure their skills and knowledge are of the required standard whilst being responsible for driving the results and maintaining the targets of the new joiners.
•Directs, motivates and supervises direct reports to ensure the delivery of professional and compliant standards.
•Provides coaching and feedback to the new Partner as appropriate
•Helps the new Partner interpret Corporate policy regarding regulatory requirements to effectively manage the key risks within his business.
•Ensures that the appropriate processes are in place to identify and monitor all signi?cant risks arising within the Partner’s practice, and that the Partner understands and buys into what is required. Ensures that appropriate processes are deployed to identify any changes to existing risks or the emergence of new risks.
•Maintains the required programme of independent business checking in order, using MI, to help the Partner move quickly through the different stages of supervision, whilst growing his knowledge of the standards expected.
•Provides reintroduction to Wealth Management course familiarisation, practice role play and training for the new Partner to help their transition into the Partnership. Encourages and guides new Partners through the study and accreditation process.
•Works closely with Business Risk Manager to ensure effective and consistent risk management and keeps Head of Business and Establishment Director informed of all emerging risks.
•Encourages the creation of realistic initial business plans which optimise the performance of new joiners to give them a clear business direction during the ?rst year.
•Works with the new Partner to identify appropriate accreditation's required and arranges for relevant Study Guides to be supplied to the new Partner and, at the appropriate juncture, ensures effective handover of the Partner and all their related business matters to the selected Business Development Manager.
