Strategic Partnership Manager (Alternative Distribution)
National
Competitive Salary Circa £90k

Purpose: Responsible for leading the strategic planning and development of new key distribution partnerships. The SPM will identify, establish and develop strategic and high level relationships and new distribution partners to achieve mutual growth through activity, quotations and new business

Key Accountabilities:

* Identification of Strategic Partners and the development of new partner relationships key to future success
* This role is to lead and manage the development of new strategic relationships to drive growth
* Develop a joint implementation plan to ensure business growth
* Negotiates appropriate agreements including business and service level agreements, Key contacts and appropriate management information for the new partner
* Achieves the strategic performance metrics as determined by the Customer Solutions Director, CMO and MD
* Expectations for SPM role include: the ability to analyse and interpret data to identify business opportunity and the ability to hold “c” level discussions and negotiations
* Ensures the continued protection of information, by following all applicable information security policies and procedures and by reporting suspected weaknesses in information security controls to the Information Security Officer
* Ensures Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Risk Management is fully understood and embedded throughout your team / department / company and that Risk and TCF implications are considered in promoting a culture that supports company activities
* Embed and contribute to the Conduct Risk Framework, wider Solvency II systems of governance principles, Treating Customers Fairly requirements and the Risk Management Framework as it applies to the role and divisional activities and drive improvements as required

Required Knowledge and Skills:

* Ability to interact with Director level internally and externally
* Able to work cross functionally to deliver goals
* Strong business, technical and product knowledge
* Knowledge of adjacent markets, products and services
* Business negotiation and strategic delivery
