Litigation Associate | Leading International Firm
IDEX Consulting have been partnered with an international law firm, with a strong grasp of strategic commercial issues. They have over 1,500 Lawyers in almost 30 offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
They are looking to recruit an Associate to join their Dispute Resolution team in the London office at the mid/senior level of their associate career structure.
The post holder will work on a broad range of dispute resolution matters for a range of clients across key industry sectors which include, amongst others: Technology & Communications, Aviation and Financial Services.
The firm offers excellent prospects for progression and their culture provides all their people with word-class support to achieve their ambitions and goals.
Their international dispute resolution group consists of more than 200 Lawyers throughout a network of international offices who are skilled, not only in all forms of dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration and ADR), but also in providing risk management and corporate governance advice. Their London team is experienced in running national and more complex multi-jurisdictional international disputes, as well as providing strategic advice on the best forum in which to seek to resolve a dispute.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a passion for commercial litigation and dispute resolution. You will be a good 'all-round' commercial disputes Lawyer; have received solid legal training and gained experience in a leading city firm. Exposure to international clients and regulatory work would be advantageous, as would arbitration experience, although this is not essential. In addition, experience of multi-party disputes and fraud matters would be useful.
