IDEX Consulting are partnered with an innovative and rapidly expanding Independent Insurance Brokers in Newmarket, Suffolk who have an opportunity to join the business as a Commercial Underwriter. A salary of up to £35,000 is available.
Joining a team of 14, you will work with regional Brokers in the UK and be underwriting on their binding authority facilities and be dealing with predominately commercial liability insurance (EL and PL) as well as contractors all risks and property. Maintaining first-class client service to customers will be imperative in the role as this Broker takes pride in their exceptional retention rates. If you are an Account Handler/Broker, you may still apply as underwriting training is provided throughout.

To be considered you should hold some experience in the commercial insurance market, either as a Broker or Underwriter. Cert CII or above is advantageous but not essential.
