Account Executive -- Heritage Property & Estates

Job description

A completely unique career opportunity

Imagine being part of a business that is rewriting the rules of insurance-not tinkering at the edges but fundamentally changing how a centuries-old sector is served. This is not just another Account Executive role. This is your chance to join a trailblazing insurance venture that's redefining what exceptional service looks like for some of the UK's most treasured properties: castles, stately homes, historic estates, and architectural icons.

With a mission to revolutionise the experience of owners and custodians of heritage property, this company is challenging the dominance of legacy insurers with a boutique, service-led model. It delivers comprehensive risk protection, proactive risk improvement funding, and exceptional client engagement-all underpinned by a select-panel, wholesale-only distribution model and backed by A-rated underwriting capacity.

If you've worked in or around the HNW, heritage, rural, or estate insurance space, this is a genuinely rare opportunity to help shape the future of the sector from within.

About the Business

Operating at the intersection of heritage, insurance, and innovation, the business partners with a curated panel of leading brokers to serve the UK's most prestigious homes and estates. These are clients with complex, unique risks-and the expectations to match.

This is the first and only offering in the UK that provides:

Fixed, competitive premiums over multi-year periods
Direct financial support for risk improvements (not just advice)
A concierge-level service model that treats clients as valued members, not policy numbers

Think the service ethos of the private wealth world applied to insurance-and you're getting close.

The Team & Culture

You'll be joining a tight-knit, highly experienced team with deep expertise across underwriting, broking, and strategic advisory. Collaboration and agility are the norms here-not hierarchy or red tape.

Current senior leadership includes respected figures with proven track records across London Market and private client broking. The business is in its early growth phase, so you'll have genuine influence over how things are built, improved, and delivered.

This is a business where ideas are actioned quickly, and where client service is personal, not procedural.

  • Deliver presentations and lead meetings with brokers, estate managers, and HNW clients

  • Monitor market trends and feedback to help shape ongoing proposition development

What We're Looking For
A proven track record in rural/HNW or commercial insurance
Strong understanding of rural, estate, property, or heritage risk profiles
A confident, credible relationship manager who can work autonomously and collaboratively
Presentation and negotiation skills suited to working with senior stakeholders and demanding clients
Based within reach of London (ideally also able to cover the West Country and West of England regions)

Salary & Benefits

Base salary: c.£55,000 per annum
Car allowance and flexible expense structure
Bonus: Up to 20% annual performance bonus
Flexible/remote working, with travel to brokers and clients as required
Genuine ownership: Your voice will shape both the role and the wider business

Why This Role?

This is a rare and rewarding career opportunity with a business doing something that no other player in the UK market is currently offering.

You'll be joining early, contributing meaningfully to its success, and positioning yourself as a key figure in the evolution of heritage property insurance.
