Client Adviser (Corporate)
Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Adviser (Corporate) to join a dynamic and professional team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Client Executives while delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of corporate clients.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of commercial insurance and a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes through collaboration, technical expertise, and proactive relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Client Executives in the day-to-day servicing of corporate client accounts.
- Respond to client queries and apply insurance principles, policy terms, and coverage knowledge.
- Understand and contribute to underwriting, claims, and broking processes.
- Act as a key point of contact with insurers, including managing negotiations.
- Maintain accurate client records and manage invoicing and data through internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an end-to-end broking service.
- Identify additional opportunities for cross-selling and refer them appropriately.
- Operate in accordance with internal policies, business standards, and FCA compliance requirements.
- Continuously develop skills and maintain CPD, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Cert CII (or working towards).
Experience and Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Excellent communication, administrative, and decision-making skills.
- Effective at organising workload, managing time, and prioritising tasks.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office; experience with Acturis is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of broking processes and regulatory compliance.
- Comfortable raising concerns and escalating appropriately when needed.
- Works collaboratively and contributes to a culture of inclusion.
- Considers broader business contexts and demonstrates professional integrity.
- Helps empower stakeholders with accurate information and guidance.
