Job description
IDEX is seeking a senior Client Development professional to join our M&A division, focused on the UK Wealth Management and IFA landscape.
This role is designed for an established Business Development Manager or high-performing Relationship Manager who has built meaningful, trusted relationships with business owners across Financial Services and is ready to leverage that network in a more strategic, transaction-led environment. The main objective of the role will be to originate and cultivate relationships with Financial Services business owners considering growth, succession, or exit.
The role;
- Cultivate relationships with prospective sellers and position IDEX as the trusted M&A partner
- Collaborate with Regional Managers to identify and prioritise acquisition opportunities
- Partner with Marketing to develop targeted growth plans and nurture strategic prospects
- Deliver against quarterly M&A revenue targets with full accountability for year-end performance
- Create and execute structured plans to exceed agreed growth objectives
- Provide strategic account oversight for identified sellers, acting as executive sponsor where required
- Manage relationships with IDEX buyers, ensuring regular steering meetings and ongoing engagement
- Lead transactions through the pipeline to completion, maximising value for sellers and IDEX
- Drive and execute the Client Solutions strategy alongside key stakeholders
What we need from you;
- Previous experience within Financial Services ideally within a Business Development role
- Strong understanding of UK Financial Services operations
- Experience in acquisitions, growth advisory or strategic business development
- Proven track record of revenue delivery and target achievement
- Experienced within lead generation and relationship cultivation
