One of the region's most highly regarded Clinical Negligence teams is growing and looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive) to join their team in Southport.
This Legal 500-ranked firm has built a strong reputation in claimant Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury law, and offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role:


You'll manage your own caseload of Clinical Negligence matters, from instruction through to settlement or trial. Cases will involve both pre-litigated and litigated claims, giving you a broad and challenging workload. You'll also work alongside senior solicitors on more complex files and contribute to mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Running a claimant Clinical Negligence caseload independently
  • Drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and litigating where necessary
  • Collaborating across the team to ensure smooth and efficient case progression
  • Contributing to team development through technical support and mentoring
  • Hitting financial and case management targets with a commercially minded approach

About You:

  • A qualified Solicitor or CILEX with NQ-5 years' PQE in Clinical Negligence
  • Experienced in handling litigated Clinical Negligence matters
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and client care skills
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and confident working autonomously
  • Comfortable mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team
