Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Insurance Associate to join a top-tier global law firm with a market-leading reputation in the insurance sector. This role offers the chance to work on complex and high-value transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A, portfolio transfers, Part VII transfers, and reinsurance arrangements You'll be advising major insurers, re-insurers, brokers, and financial institutions across the UK and Europe, supported by a team recognised for its technical excellence and deep industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Advising on a range of corporate insurance transactions, including M&A, reorganisations, and joint ventures.
Supporting clients on corporate governance, regulatory, and capital markets matters.
Managing deal processes and coordinating cross-border teams.
Maintaining and building strong relationships with clients, contributing to business development.
Staying up to date with insurance and regulatory developments.
You
3-5 years' PQE (or equivalent) within a recognised corporate or insurance team.
Strong technical grounding in corporate law, ideally with insurance sector experience.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.
Confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong academics (minimum 2:1 or equivalent).
