The Role


This is a client-facing position suited for a qualified Financial Planner who is confident in providing personalised advice across pensions, investments, and trust planning. You will manage client relationships with professionalism and care, while also helping to identify new business opportunities, especially through professional introducers such as accountants and solicitors.
You will be expected to maintain high standards of conduct, integrity, and compliance, contributing to a culture that prioritises ethics, client outcomes, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet clients to understand their financial needs and develop long-term, trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with Paraplanners, support staff, and management to deliver quality advice
  • Deliver financial planning services in line with FCA rules and compliance standards
  • Research financial products and present clear, compliant recommendations
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using systems such as Intelliflo Office (IO)
  • Keep clients informed about their investments and financial plans
  • Develop new business through referrals and professional networks
  • Maintain appropriate levels of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Requirements

  • Level 4 qualification (DipPFS, DipFA, or CISI Level 4) - essential
  • Chartered status (or working towards) preferred
  • Experience delivering investment and pension advice
  • Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is an advantage
  • Highly organised, IT literate, and capable of managing workload independently
  • Strong communication skills and business development capabilities
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
