Job description
Our highly entrepreneurial law firm client is seeking a junior or mid-level Associate to join in New York. This opportunity arises as the group's workload continues to increase and the team is looking to add a Junior Associate who can provide meaningful support to a senior, highly experienced bench of Counsel, shareholders and Senior Associates.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with a top-heavy team structure that offers consistent mentorship and hands-on development. The group handles a wide range of financial services litigation matters and the role will involve substantial responsibility early on, including opportunities for courtroom appearances.
Key Areas of Work
- Financial services and commercial litigation matters
- Disputes involving commercial real estate
- Distressed loans and related financial instruments
- Debt and security instruments
- Creditor and lender liability issues
- Court appearances and litigation support across active matters
Candidate Profile
- Junior or mid-level Associate with financial services OR commercial litigation experience
- Experience or familiarity with matters involving commercial real estate, distressed loans, or related financial instruments
- Comfortable handling courtroom appearances and litigation responsibilities
