Junior Financial Adviser

About the role
We are a chartered financial planning and employee benefits practice, directly regulated by the FCA, with a reputation for delivering clear, personal and professional advice. As our business continues to grow, we are now seeking a Junior Financial Adviser to join our team and build a long-term career in holistic financial planning.
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified or early-stage Adviser (minimum level 4 qualified) with strong technical skills and client service experience, looking to progress in a well-supported and collaborative environment. You'll work closely with experienced Advisers, in-house Paraplanners and a dedicated admin team while gradually building your own portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of tailored financial advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning
  • Conduct fact-finds, risk assessments and assist in cashflow modelling
  • Prepare and present clear recommendations in writing and in meetings
  • Collaborate with Senior Advisers to gain exposure to complex client scenarios
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients to support long-term advice
  • Ensure all advice and communications remain fully compliant
  • Work closely with Paraplanners and admin staff to ensure smooth processing of business

What we're looking for

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
  • 1+ years' experience in a client-facing financial services or paraplanning role
  • A desire to build a successful advisory career with a long-term focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach
  • Strong ethics, client-first mindset and commitment to development
