Job description
Our client is seeking a 2nd-5th year Litigation Associate to join the commercial litigation group in New York.
The ideal Attorney will have experience managing key phases of complex, high-stakes commercial disputes. This includes handling written and document discovery; conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, pleadings and dispositive and non-dispositive motions; taking and defending depositions; assisting with witness preparation and supporting all aspects of trial preparation and strategy.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be admitted in NY
- Comparable law firm and/or clerkship experience preferred
- Experience conducting discovery, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, witness preparation and taking/defending depositions
- Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus
