Job description
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Paraplanner to join a reputable and growing wealth management firm based in Solihull. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial planning process, providing detailed analysis, research, and report writing to support a team of expert Financial Advisers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on financial products, investments, pensions, and insurance
- Produce comprehensive suitability reports tailored to individual client goals
- Assist in the development of financial strategies including retirement planning, cash flow analysis, and estate planning
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and internal procedures
- Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers, clients, and providers as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, legislation changes, and financial planning best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a technical paraplanning role within financial services
- Strong knowledge of financial planning software and tools
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent); working towards Level 6 is desirable
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent written communication
- A client-focused mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
