Job description

An established and growing financial planning firm is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join its collaborative team in Wakefield. You'll play a key role in supporting financial planners by producing high-quality reports and recommendations, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft comprehensive client reports, reviews, and suitability letters
  • Carry out research, analysis, and obtain provider illustrations
  • Collaborate closely with financial planners, administrators, and fellow paraplanners
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of compliance processes and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all reports and advice meet internal quality and timeliness standards
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge and best practices


About You

  • Experience in a paraplanning role
  • Working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4) or already qualified; ambition to pursue Chartered status is encouraged
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator and effective collaborator within a busy, professional team environment
  • Capable of managing deadlines and working both independently and as part of a team
