Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well respected financial planning firm with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow,.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis - Evaluate clients' income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and long-term goals using robust planning tools.
- Report Preparation - Draft comprehensive reports covering investments, retirement, tax, and estate planning.
- Client Communication - Liaise with clients to gather relevant information and help articulate their financial aspirations.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all recommendations and plans meet FCA regulatory standards.
- Research & Due Diligence - Analyse financial products and market trends to support tailored client strategies.
- Support Investment Recommendations - Assist planners in creating bespoke investment portfolios aligned with client objectives.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate and compliant client records and files.
Essential:
- Diploma Paraplanner
- Experience with iO, Excel, and financial planning tools
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- Strong team player with mentoring or coaching capability
