Are you a detail-driven problem solver who thrives on research, analysis and bringing clarity to complex financial plans? We're looking for a Paraplanner to join our growing team, providing vital support to Financial Advisers and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into the details, thrives on structure and process and wants to be a key part of delivering exceptional financial planning.
What you'll do
- Review and analyse client information to build a full picture of their financial circumstances
- Work closely with Advisers to identify opportunities, assess suitability and develop tailored financial solutions
- Research products and solutions across the market, using cashflow modelling, cost comparison tools and in-house systems
- Produce clear, professional client-facing documents including suitability reports and annual reviews
- Ensure all client files are accurate and compliant, maintaining a clear audit trail
- Support team members and help develop Trainee Paraplanners
- Maintain your own professional development, working towards or holding the level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS)
What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of the financial planning process and industry regulations
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Advisers and colleagues
- Knowledge of pensions, investments, retirement and tax planning
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and familiarity with financial planning tools
- Ideally working towards or already holding the level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
