Regional Financial Planning Manager

Job description

My client is currently looking for Regional Financial Planning Manager to join their team in the Lake District.

The overall purpose of this role is to provide financial planning advice and solutions to clients, delivering high quality advice and service, whilst leading a team of Financial Planners.

The Role

  • Provide independent financial planning advice to new and existing clients
  • Leading and supervising/managing a team of Financial Planners in terms of both performance management and training & competence
  • Ensuring high quality advice is given by all team members and ensuring support is provided where required
  • Identifying training/coaching needs of team members and providing coaching and support where appropriate
  • Leading the recruitment process when required for new team members
  • Actively contributing to the strategy and day to day running of the financial planning team
  • Ensuring high quality ongoing advice is provided to all review clients
  • Identifying opportunities to refer clients to the wide business
  • Maintaining and developing technical knowledge relevant to role
  • Building and maintaining business relationships with key potential introducers

The Candidate

  • Level 4 qualified
  • Experience of giving advice and managing of a team of Advisors in an IFA environment
