This regional insurance broking group is gaining significant momentum in its core specialist and commercial markets. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced Risk Management Consultant to join their team in Scotland.
About the Company
This is a UK-wide team with a strong focus on the commercial and agricultural markets. They bring expertise across broking, risk management, and claims advice, delivering comprehensive support to clients. The Risk Management function serves as the technical, client-facing side of the business, providing critical support to key clients. This team offers expert advice across all aspects of risk management and health and safety, ensuring clients are well-equipped to manage their risks effectively.
As national client growth continues, the Risk Management team is expanding in tandem, creating long-term career progression opportunities for professionals joining this thriving business.
About the Role
You'll work with a diverse range of clients across sectors such as:
- Construction
- Distribution
- Manufacturing
- Farming
- Renewables
- Estates
As the business rapidly expands, additional client sectors are being introduced to the portfolio.
In this client-facing role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert risk management advice to both existing and new clients.
- Supporting commercial and agricultural businesses with their risk management and safety programs.
You'll enjoy the freedom and flexibility that comes with a regional role while collaborating closely with a network of locally based colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Risk Management/Surveying from a broker or insurer background.
- Relevant qualifications in Risk Management.
- Residency in Scotland and the ability to work in a home/field-based position.
