Job description
I'm working with a Top 50 national law firm who are looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Principal Associate (4+ PQE) into their growing litigation, regulatory & compliance team in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a nationally recognised Partner and team on complex, high-value commercial disputes for an impressive client base that includes FTSE-listed companies, global household names and ambitious start-ups.
The role
You'll be involved in:
- Leading on complex commercial disputes across multiple sectors, including financial services, tech, real estate and more
- Handling litigation, arbitration and ADR matters (often with a cross-border element)
- Working closely with clients as a trusted Adviser, providing strategic, commercially focused solutions
- Supporting the team's growth through business development and mentoring junior colleagues
Why this firm?
- National reach, local strength: with Lawyers across the UK (and experience in international disputes), you'll be part of a team with real breadth
- Varied, high-profile work: from technology disputes to regulatory investigations, the caseload is diverse and market leading
- Supportive culture: a collaborative, inclusive environment that values wellbeing, flexibility and professional development
- Investment in growth: the litigation practice has a clear 2030 vision to become a pre-eminent disputes practice and this role is central to that strategy
- Top 50 reputation: the firm is known for its client service, innovation and award-winning commitment to people - the first to achieve Platinum Investors in People
Who they're looking for
- A strong background in commercial litigation (4+ PQE)
- Experience handling complex disputes, ideally with exposure to cross-border or technology-related work (desirable, not essential)
- A confident communicator who enjoys client contact, can lead on matters and wants to play an active role in team growth and business development
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Litigator to join a high-performing national team with a strong pipeline of work and clear scope to progress.
