Idex are supporting a well established independent insurance broker seeking a Construction PI Account Executive to join our team.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with Construction PI experience who wants to develop new business and manage high-value clients across a diverse range of construction related risks.

The Role

  • Develop and manage new and existing Construction PI accounts

  • Handle clients across a wide spectrum of construction-related risks, including:

  • Contractors and subcontractors

  • Architects, engineers, and design professionals

  • Project managers and construction managers

  • Quantity surveyors and cost consultants

  • Civil engineering and infrastructure contractors

  • Developers (residential and commercial)

  • Specialist consultants, temporary works designers, and geotechnical/environmental consultants

  • Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and insurers

  • Provide tailored risk solutions and advisory support, ensuring client satisfaction

  • Proactively pursue new business - a bank of leads is available to help you get started

  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and account teams to deliver seamless service

    Who We're Looking For

    • Experience in Construction PI or broader Construction-related PI insurance

    • Proven track record in new business development and client management

    • Strong technical knowledge of construction risks and professional indemnity exposures

    • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills

    • Motivated, proactive, and commercially minded
