Corporate Client Director

Job description

Let's start with this:

You already know how to manage big corporate clients. You're probably doing it right now -juggling complex programmes, soothing stakeholders, steering renewal strategies, and maybe, if you're lucky, getting a thank you once in a blue moon.

But what if you could do all of that in a business that operates differently from the mainstream nationals?

One with the resource, brand, and reputation, but without the clunky legacy hierarchy and red tape that can hold up decisions and crucially, the right client solutions.

Yep, one where the pipeline isn't just "warm", its practically on fire. And the support you need to deliver? Already in place.

This brokerage are eating into the corporate market big time - and they've got Scotland firmly in their sights. That's where you come in.

What's the gig?

You'll be the go-to advisor for some seriously impressive clients (we're talking businesses nudging £1bn turnover). It's high-stakes stuff -complex risk programmes across Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, and the occasional curveball Specialty risk. You won't be left pitching cold or fiddling with spreadsheets- there's a specialist team for that.

Your job? Win trust. Lead strategy. Be brilliant. And when you're not doing that, you'll help bring on new clients who are already circling, waiting for the right person to walk them through the door.

Who is this for?

You're probably a Corporate Account Director, Client Director, or Broking Lead who knows their stuff and isn't shy in a boardroom. You're comfortable advising at C-suite level and not afraid to challenge thinking if it gets to a better result.

You get how to blend technical know-how with commercial awareness -and you know the difference between service and real client advocacy.

You'll need a strong grasp of corporate P&C risk (bonus points if you've dealt with multinational accounts), and ideally, you're already based in Scotland-or at least willing to make it your patch.

What's in it for you?

  • A salary up to £90,000, plus bonus and LTIPs
  • A grown-up, flexible working culture
  • Big-name clients and meaty, strategic work
  • Proper support from technical teams and placement specialists
  • A leadership team that wants you to succeed-and backs that up

This is more than just "another job". It's a seat at the table with one of the UK's most respected broking houses, working on flagship accounts, and shaping the future of corporate risk advisory in Scotland.
