Mortgage Team Leader

Job description

My client is currently looking for a fully qualified and experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser who can manage and lead a small team of Mortgage Advisers near Blackburn.

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible servicing their own clients and sourcing new areas of business
  • You will lead a small team of Advisers and mentor other, less experienced team members
  • Prospect and contact potential clients
  • Complete full analysis of the client's needs
  • Undertake product and market research
  • Suitable products considered and research conducted
  • Suitable recommendations are made


The ideal candidate

  • Experienced in all types of mortgage and protection products, you will have an existing client bank or professional introducer connections
  • Able to work towards targets and generate new leads from other Fairstone offices will be essential
  • Experience of growing a team


Skills & qualifications

  • R05, CF1 and CF6 or CEMAP (equivalent)
  • Proficiency in delivering presentations
  • Knowledge of financial markets
  • Ability to identify the specific needs and requirements of a client
  • Able to develop strategic relationships within the industry
  • Be proactive and demonstrate initiative
