Ellie began her career as a solicitor apprentice with Gowling WLG before moving into recruitment. After a few years in the police, she decided to return to recruitment, combining her legal expertise with her passion for consulting. She has also previously specialised in finance, corporate, securities and technology M&A.

Most recently Ellie has specialised in the US legal lateral market supporting top AmLaw 100 firms with recruitment campaigns and facilitating lateral moves for leading US lawyers in funds, securities, and litigation.

Ellie leads the IDEX North American lateral associate market, with a focus in Texas as a leading hub of technology, AI and a top spot for AmLaw 200 firm headquarters.

Outside of work Ellie spends time with her little boy and enjoys plane spotting, and flying planes, referring to herself as a bit of a thrill seeker! She also has a passion for travel and loves spending lots of time with family.
