Exceptional opportunity to be part of an award-winning insurance brokerage who are offering an opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join the business where you will inherit a book of business.

As part of their organic growth strategy, they are now looking to appoint dynamic, customer centric Account Executives. You will need to understand the needs of your clients and offer a truly consultative service whilst maximising opportunities and generating profitable income.

Job role:

  • Oversees preparation, management, implementation and achievement of business plans and goals.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor, and expands the dialogue with the client to discuss both current and emerging risks, ensuring the client receives the best of what the Company has to offer.
  • Maximises team and account profitability through the implementation of efficient and effective work practices, adequate client billing and sensible expense control.
  • Solidifies effective long term relationships with own and Account Executives' key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
  • Utilises a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure that our services and programs continue to meet their complex needs and expectations.
  • Develops and leads implementation of clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance exceeds set targets.
  • Strengthens positive and tenacious client retention and development focus amongst subordinates through regular communication of client status and retention issues.
  • Ensures that effective account retention and defense strategies are in place for all clients at all times.
  • Leads revenue generation, growth and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolio and other sources in line with budget targets.
