We're recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive to join a well-established independent insurance broker based in South Birmingham.
This role offers the best of both worlds:
you'll inherit a well-established book of clients worth approximately £150k income, while also being encouraged and supported to grow the book through new business and organic development without starting from scratch.
The Role
Managing and servicing an existing commercial book (£150k income)
Building long-term relationships through regular client reviews and proactive service
Developing the portfolio via new business, referrals and cross-selling opportunities
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, tailoring insurance solutions to their needs
Working closely with Account Handlers and insurer partners
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Commercial Account Executive / Client Manager within insurance broking
Strong client relationship and business development skills
Solid commercial insurance technical knowledge
Confidence managing both existing clients and new opportunities
ACII (or working towards) preferred but not essential
