Associate/Senior Associate - Renewable Property

Job description

We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our highly regarded renewables property team in Glasgow.

Our team advises a wide range of leading developers in the renewables sector on all aspects of property work, including:

  • Securing land and preparing property packages for funding or sale
  • Sales, financings, and precedent development
  • Due diligence for major projects
  • Bespoke property structuring
  • Complex title examination and site assembly


We support projects across multiple technologies, including onshore wind, solar, offshore wind, battery storage, green hydrogen, and increasingly hybrid developments.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 4-10 years' PQE, ideally with renewables experience
  • Be confident drafting options and leases for renewables projects or large-scale commercial property developments
  • Have solid experience in title examination and reporting for Sasine and Land Registered titles
  • Be eager to learn, while also confident working autonomously and supporting junior colleagues
  • Show a clear interest in the renewables sector
  • Demonstrate strong client service, initiative, and a proactive, positive approach
  • Be an effective communicator who builds rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Have ambition to develop a successful long-term career in the renewables space
