Business Development Manager

IDEX Consulting are exclusively representing a leading international law firm who are expanding their presence in Frankfurt. They are looking to hire an experienced business development manager for their transactional practice areas.


The ideal candidate will have experience working within the legal sector and have relationships within the corporate space which could include private equity firms, investment banks, real estate and other industries/sectors.


Main duties:

  • Assist the partnership in their BD and marketing activities including supporting individual partners or group activities e.g. sector or practice initiatives, events and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and track BD budgets
  • Work with the wider BD department to access appropriate support, best practice and knowledge to the benefit of German BD objectives and activities
  • Support with the creation and implementation of business development and marketing initiatives.


Key skills and experience:

  • Successful track record or business development within the legal sector or professional services environment.
  • Experience of driving, managing and evaluating key BD campaigns
  • Experience of successfully dealing with and influencing senior people, particularly partners.
  • Ability to deal directly with clients or client representatives.
