Chair - WPR Advisory Thinktank

Job description

Are you a senior insurance market leader who enjoys bringing influential people together and shaping industry conversations?

Our Partner WPR is launching a Change & Transformation Thinktank within the Insurance, Lloyd's and London Market ecosystem and we're looking for a Chair to lead it.

This is not a traditional Non-Executive Director role.

Instead, it's an opportunity to build and chair a curated group of senior decision-makers, creating a high-trust forum where industry leaders can discuss the future of transformation in the market.

The role

As Chair, you'll lead the creation and development of the Thinktank.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and inviting 6-9 senior insurance market leaders to join the panel
  • Curating a balanced group across change, technology, operations, regulatory and people leadership
  • Chairing quarterly private dining sessions in London
  • Shaping key discussion themes and strategic questions for each forum
  • Facilitating candid conversation around market transformation
  • Helping translate discussion into industry insight and thought leadership

The aim is to create a high-quality forum for senior leaders that generates meaningful insight, connectivity and commercial opportunity.

What we're looking for

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has operated at CEO / COO / CFO / CTO level
  • Understands the Lloyd's or London Market ecosystem
  • Brings credibility and a strong industry network
  • Enjoys connecting people and facilitating senior discussions
  • Prefers entrepreneurial environments over corporate bureaucracy

Commitment

  • Monthly 60-minute virtual call
  • Quarterly in-person forum in London
  • Attendance at an 'in person' insurance conference

Term

  • 12-month appointment (extendable up to three years)

Why this role?

This is a platform role offering the opportunity to:

  • Curate a peer group of senior industry leaders
  • Shape debate around Change & Transformation in the insurance market
  • Build influence across the sector
  • Work with a growing entrepreneurial business
