Client Portfolio Manager

Job description

My client is based in the centre of Manchester and they are currently recruiting for a Client Portfolio Manager to join their investment team.

  • Acting as a point of contact
  • Communicate professionally, courteously, and effectively with Clients by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face
  • Assisting with long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Identifying business development opportunities within the existing client base
  • Working alongside Senior Client Manager following meetings to discuss the client's circumstances and be involved in creating and implementing a financial strategy to meet the client's financial objectives and circumstances
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships with the clients, keeping them informed, answering queries, and arranging review meetings
  • Identifying client needs at a review and undertaking preparation, collaborating with other colleagues and teams where appropriate
  • Articulating our services to clients and identifying business opportunities based on their needs
  • Understanding the needs of our clients and be able to respond effectively with appropriate service suggestion
  • Ensuring all clients are contacted on a regular basis
  • Ensuring client facing documents are accurate and appropriate for the client

Whats needed:

  • Solid investment industry experience
  • Good client service skills
  • Investment Advice Diploma is essential (or close to completion)
