We are currently working with a well known insurance provider who, due to growth, are expanding their existing business underwriting team. They are looking for experienced insurance underwriters who will be responsible for underwriting various commercial cases - they will consider a commercial motor underwriter seeking a move in multi class. You will build relationships with your broker panel across the South East, forming a point of contact and deliver exceptional customer service. You will underwrite and produce renewal terms or mid-term adjustments within the underwriting appetite of the business, be a team player and contribute to the growth and retention strategy targets by negotiating terms and securing renewals, whilst working within your personal licence authority, take ownership of your work prioritise, meet deadlines, ensure you follow the processes in place whilst constantly looking for opportunities to improve the customer journey.

Underwriting experience is essential (from an insurer or an MGA)

• Have a good understanding of the Motor or Commercial market
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
