Our client are seeking a Compliance Manager to work with their protection business based in Newmarket.

You will undertake a wide range of duties as Compliance Manager such as:

• Responsibility for the compliance function in the firm, ensuring that the firm complies with all relevant principles and regulations
• To liaise with group risk to ensure that the standards, systems and controls and risk appetite are compatible with the group
• Responsible for the firm's ongoing monitoring, to ensure that the firm maintains compliance with the regime
• Responsible for the firm's obligations in relation to individual conduct rules for training and reporting

The ideal candidate will need to have a financial services background, ideally with a strong understanding of protection products.
