Construction Account Director

I have been retained to work with a key broking partner to attract the very best individuals within the specialist area of Construction Insurance. We start this project in securing the Senior Account Director to lead the existing team and further develop with strategic growth through the existing business, new networks and your established connections. Our client has considerable acquisition plans to grow throughout the group and this will be a well supported sector for them.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of brokers and account managers to manage and grow key construction accounts
  • Develop and execute account strategies in conjunction with the broking team
  • Manage relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality service to clients in accordance with industry standards
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the construction industry and related insurance products
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to expand the business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure long-term success
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability for the business
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the broking team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction insurance broking or account management
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and related insurance products
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
