Corporate Account Director
London (hybrid)
£60,000 - £90,000 + excellent benefits package including pension, PMI and Life Assurance

A well-respected national Broker is seeking an experienced Account Director to take over a £1.5m income mature book of mixed commercial clients, which includes Commercial Combined, Group Travel, Construction, Cyber, Crime, D&O, PI, Care, Charity, Mining, Retail and Motor Fleet business etc. The business have a dedicated claims team and also place a high importance on employee wellbeing.

The immediate responsibility will be ensuring a smooth handover of the clients and their subsequent retention, though there will also be an expectation to grow this book over time. This will include producing new business from referrals and proactive sales activity, identifying and pursuing opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products and services to existing clients and cultivating recommendations and referrals from existing clients. As a senior member of the team, the Account Director will act as a technical referral point to more junior members of the team and assist them where appropriate.

Cross-class commercial insurance knowledge is essential for this role, coupled with Corporate insurance experience i.e. cases between £50k and £1m GWP. The business is looking for hard working and enthusiastic individuals with a strong sense of integrity who are ideally ACII qualified and have some exposure to global placements.
