Corporate Broking Supervisor
Job description
A top-tier independent insurance Broker is looking for an experienced insurance professional to oversee their team of Account Handlers.
The Broking Manager will act as a day to day referral point for any queries within the team, allocate renewals and new business and generally ensure the smooth running of the team.
The role will include mentoring and coaching the team members, ensuring they record all case information correctly and hit targets.
The successful candidate will also manage their own book of mid-market UK retail business, premiums typically £10k - £50k.
Additionally the Manager will assist the Head of Corporate Broking with duties such as recruitment, induction, on-boarding and appraisals.
Applicants will ideally have a proven background in management at a commercial insurance Broker coupled with experience in mid-market business.
Senior Account Handlers looking to take a step up will also be considered, especially if they have experience in mentoring/ coaching etc.
Strong communication, networking and relationship management skills are sought along with cross-class commercial knowledge (Commercial Combined, Property Owners and Accident and Health etc.).
