IDEX Consulting are partnered with a global Commodity Trader in their search for a Senior Data Scientist in London.

This role sits under the newly appointed Director of Analytics and will be responsible for working closely with Front Office to understand their Data requirements so they can make better informed trading decisions & strategies.

My client is investing heavily in Data Analytics, and are planning on doubling the size of their Data Science & Quantitative Analytics teams.

You will cover a variety of tasks such as:

• Analysing large data sets, as well as undertaking data cleansing and validation projects
• Building Machine Learning models
• Working with non-technical stakeholders
• Designing predictive models to support market forecasting

To be a success in this role, you will have an Advanced Analytics background in ideally the Energy sector along with strong C++ and Python coding skills.
