Desk Based Healthcare Administrator/Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Desk Based Healthcare Administrator/Account Manager. (hybrid role)


The purpose of the role is to support & assist in the retention of policies with existing clients and acquisition of new business in the most efficient and cost effective manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Preparing business reports including renewals and new business for the range of healthcare products (Private medical insurance, dental, health screening and cashplan)
  • Day to day administration of existing schemes
  • Administration of renewal process and renewing policies with clients by phone/email
  • Preparing & updating monthly claims reports
  • Managing quotation process for market reviews & new business prospects
  • Liaising with insurers to resolve claims & membership issues
  • Keeping colleagues informed of ongoing queries/claims issues
  • Ensuring attention to detail in all aspects of role
  • Maintaining good working knowledge of the range of healthcare products and markets
  • Adhering to regulatory requirements at all times
  • Working in accordance with Data Protection and adhering to TCF at all times

Salary:

  • Annual salary from £25k - £30k depending on experience
  • 29 days annual leave
