Funds Technical Manager

Job description

A market leading Investment Management firm are seeking a Funds Technical Manager to join their Bristol based offices.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide guidance and implementation expertise in setting up new funds, segregated mandates and other investment vehicles from an operative perspective.

Working alongside a long-serving team member who will offer support, guidance and hands on training, you will report into the Head of Investment Operations and be an integral part of the continued success of the business.

Duties include;

  • Oversee and provide technical knowledge/advice to the Fund Admin team
  • Responsibility for compilation and implementation of continued process and system improvements
  • Guide management to any dedicated operations for fund launches
  • Produce reports and statistics
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures

As a key role, the successful applicant must have experience in setting up and managing funds, segregated mandates and other investment vehicles.

Recent experience in wealth or asset management environments is required, along with previous experience in fund processing, operations, pricing, oversight and/or derivatives.
