Head of Client Services

Job description

We are working exclusively with a wealth management firm in Bristol looking to hire their next Head of Client Services due to the current member of staff retiring.
You will work in partnership with clients and the group departments to ensure suitable and appropriate financial advice is executed compliantly, while driving exceptional client experiences.
You will assist the Advisors in managing the acquisition and retention of quality clients in a professional, efficient and compliant manner. You will ensure all client data is recorded and maintained accurately and efficiently within the CRM system and provide accurate and consistent MI regarding expected revenue submissions.
You will lead by example to ensure that the technology is embraced and continually develop your own understanding of financial legislation, regulation and financial markets in order to optimise the advice and service they can provide to their clients.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Responsibly and efficiently manage to support the Financial Advisors and end client
  • Always operate within the rules and guidelines of the FCA, as documented in the company's compliance procedures
  • Drive forward importance of client money transactions
  • Drive forward the data quality directive
  • Ensure the internal customer relationship management (CRM) system is updated in real-time with all client communication/interaction
  • Embed a culture of ownership and accountability within the department
  • Provide quality and accurate MI to your peers and board members
  • Plan, conduct and document performance development reviews in accordance with group procedure and follow through with agreed areas thoroughly
  • Coach and develop in accordance with individually identified needs
  • Pro-actively review departmental procedures to ensure they meet the business needs
  • Lead by example to instil an approach of total customer satisfaction, for both internal and external clients
  • Plan and conduct team meetings to ensure the delivery of appropriate communications and training
  • Delegate appropriately to ensure the delivery of department goals
