Head of Ocean Marine

The opportunity to build an Ocean marine practice within an already well-established, specialty, Inland Marine business. This would excite you.

The chance to bring your expertise to an already thriving, award winning MGA who will offer you a profit share for your efforts. (The bigger you grow your team/portfolio, the healthier your bank balance looks!)

You'll be a proven Marine Vice President / Head of Marine running an existing team, but would relish a more entrepreneurial challenge to build something special from the ground up.

Or perhaps you might be the #2 within your marine division, and would see this as the natural next step up and chance to make a name for yourself.

You'll have the ability to open doors with brokers, be confident in attracting capacity from insurers/reinsurers and have a strong network of Underwriters to recruit for your team.

On offer is a lucrative compensation package plus profit share, private healthcare and 401K.

Your experience:

  • We will consider individuals based anywhere across the US, and are looking for someone with expertise across either Hull & Machinery, P&I or Marine Cargo
  • You will have experience as a Marine Underwriter and possess a strong network
  • Naturally driven and entrepreneurial and you would be excited about the substantial earning potential in the long run, rather than in the short term (High base salary)
