Are you an an entrepreneurial minded, ambitious Senior Underwriter/Deputy Manager who is looking to step up into a leadership role, where you can manage a team of Underwriters, whilst building out your own distribution and book of business?

IDEX have been appointed by a rapidly expanding MGA in Brussels, Belgium to lead the search for an Underwriting Manager/Head of Underwriting to lead their team due to a planned retirement.

You will have a natural handover from the current Underwriting Manager, so you have time to build strong relationships with your team whilst you settle into your new role.

This isn't just a comfortable, leadership position, this MGA are looking to expand their product offering and are looking for a person who could develop a new distribution. Our client will consider various lines of business including PI/financial lines, construction, property or liability just to name a few.

You will have full investment/support behind you to ensure you have all the tools available to build a P&L and successful book of business. This is a long-term investment so you'll have time to make this a success.

A negotiable salary/package is on offer which includes an LTIP (Long term incentive plan) and potential bonus deal.
