IBA Accounts Technician
Job description
We are working on a retained project for our client, a Lloyd's insurance broker who are actively looking to recruit an IBA Accounts Technician to join their team.
The main purpose of the role is to manage insurance-based accounts and ensure efficient financial operations within the company.
You will be responsible for preparing payment runs, running fortnightly credit control reports, addressing queries from banks, clients, and brokers, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also be required to cash match and allocate, prepare statements for underwriters, clients, and third-party accounts, chasing outstanding premiums, and managing un-reconciled receipts.
What we need from you;
- The successful candidate will have previous experience in an IBA role and a strong interest in the insurance industry.
- Excellent numerical, literacy, communicational, and organisational skills is essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
