IFA Administrator

Job description

My client is a well established IFA firm in Belfast. They are currently looking for an experienced IFA to contribute to company strategy, goals and objectives by providing a high quality, technical support and administrative services to all clients, internal and external.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and technical support to the financial planning / specialist advisors, the Directors and other colleagues within the company
  • Assist the adviser in delivering to the client a service in accordance with the service level they have subscribed to
  • Maintain the client database in an accurate and timely manner ensuring all client and product details are updated with no omissions
  • Co-ordinate and prepare client reviews supporting the financial adviser. Where applicable insert recommendations to rebalance the client to the appropriate model portfolio
  • Provide pre and post sales administration in relation to the processing of new business and general ad hoc queries
  • Assist the adviser in maintaining a compliant client record in accordance with the regulations established by the FCA
  • Contribute to business development through acknowledgement and an awareness of the Company targets and influence you may have in achieving that target
  • Fulfil reception duties on a cover basis for breaks and lunchtime and agreed days as requested
  • Proactively prioritise and manage own time and workload in an efficient and effective manner, working to deadlines as necessary
  • Understand and contribute to the marketing strategy of the company
