This is a first-class insurance brokerage based in Southampton, who is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across their commercial sector, including manufacturing, construction and commercial fleet, building strong relationships, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all their insurance needs are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Process insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products to clients
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to achieve business goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Experience as an account handler in the insurance industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software systems
  • Knowledge of insurance products and regulations
