Interest Rate Derivative Trader - Director
Job description
To join a leading bank in the Middle East (United Arab Emirates) as, Director Interest Rate Derivative trader.
Utilising your experience in a similar IRD trading desk role you will:
- Market Making for GCC and Emerging Market (EM) rates and managing risk of volatile positions
- Price and manage note issuances and structured deposits - vanilla & exotic Interest Rate (IR) linked payoffs
- Own the performance of the Interest Rate Derivative (IRD) trading desk within assigned market risk limits
- Depending on client / sales requests you will expand & develop regional and international coverage
- Provide relevant proactive input to the business regarding the modernisation, technological & development of desk architecture to enhance performance
You:
- Solid exposure in a similar role
- Able to demonstrate past experience in trading & managing Interest Rate (IR) volatility risk at a leading bank
- Deep knowledge & proven PnL track record of Emerging Market Rates / EMR
- Experienced in trading hybrid products - Credit, FX, IR
- Be prepared to relocate yourself and family to the United Arab Emirates
