iO - Co - Ordinator

Job description

Through successful partnerships with Building Societies, we deliver independent financial advice to their customers. For corporate clients, we provide advice on engaging employees through the provision of group risk, protection and other employee benefit solutions.

Responsible for assisting the iO - Data & Improvement Manager with enhancing the application of Intelliflo Office across the business to improve our Operational efficiency, maintain the appropriate level of system controls and permissions and ensure that end users are fully trained and competent in line with the requirements of their roles.

The role holder will also be expected to:

  • Support our acquisition strategy by assisting with the tasks relating to the data migration into our iO system and helping to understand any differences with the target firms operational processes with those of the company to ascertain if iO changes could be required
  • Provide project support for specific assigned tasks on iO related projects and initiatives
  • Provide support to ensure the smooth functioning and consistent application of core iO processes, and support any implementation, adoption and training requirements
  • Assist the iO - Data & Improvement Manager in process mapping and process revision, the roll out of new processes and procedures and designing and implementing solutions to issues arising and new initiatives
  • Be an ambassador for change and provide support to increase awareness, to ensure the consistent and improving use and adoption of Intelligent Office by all relevant parts of the business



Principle Objectives and Responsibilities include the following, other objectives may be assigned:

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of a programme of change to enhance the application of Intelligent Office across the business, by working on assigned tasks / project areas as required
  • Assist with the delivery of data migration and integration of businesses into our iO infrastructure and process framework, by completing specific data migration tasks assigned as required
  • To provide operational input and expertise into iO matters or projects as required
  • Assist with the identification and implementation of exception reporting resulting in improved data quality
  • Assist with the activities required to complete the daily maintenance routines required to keep iO functioning correctly
  • Completion of other reasonable duties, as defined by the iO - Data & Improvement Manager


Knowledge Required

  • Knowledge of the financial planning market including products and services
  • Working knowledge of FCA Rules, Guidance Notes and Commitments that apply to the job role
  • Experience of iO and other FS systems
  • Experience in an IFA/Wealth Management environment



Essential Skills:

  • Previous Financial Services experience working in IFA practices
  • A good working knowledge of Intelligent Office
  • Broad base of Compliance knowledge
  • Planning and organising skills - able to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritise work and deliver to strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail when producing data, reports or other analysis
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Confidence to deal effectively with clients, colleagues and product providers
